3 individual frames or pages that interact with each other
depending on user commands. The paragraph below explains
each interactive page and the purpose it serves in planning
your trip.

Biker
Destination Directory / Categories
The Destination Directory is a list of Biker Friendly
destinations that can easily be added to any motorcyclist
trip. The Destination Directory or list of Biker Friendly
places to visit can be found on the left side of the screen
in the create a journey section of the site after selecting
a desired state . This directory interacts upon user request
with the Destination Map.

Map Controls
Another great feature is the Map Controller. This feature
gives users the ability to expand & collapse both maps as
well as the Destination Directory & Page Header.

Motorcycle Destination

The Destination Map interacts with the Destination
Directory to give users a visual look at the Destination
they will be adding to their trip. This fully interactive
map provided by Microsoft Virtual Earth allows users the
ability to match numbers provided with a particular
destination & its numbered icon located on the Destination
Map. Hovering over a specific destination icon will provide
user with the exact location, a picture, and brief
description.

The Control Bar Located at the Top Left of the Destination
Map gives users the ability to interact fully with the maps
excellent features. Users can zoom in and out by using the +
and - buttons or by double clicking the left mouse button.
Users can also adjust map in any desired direction by using
the toggle arrows or by holding down the left mouse button &
dragging map. Users can also view their desired location in
3D as well as by satellite imagery also known as a Bird's
eye view.

Biker Friendly Google

The
Biker Friendly Google Map is located directly above the
Destination Map. This map is where all trip planning occurs.
The Biker Friendly Google Map gives users the ability to
plan a trip with multiple destinations as well as choose a
desired route they feel comfortable taking. This map also
gives turn-by-turn directions. After a user is finished
adding destinations & their trip is completely planned they
can then finalize their trip by printing a hard copy.

The Biker Friendly Google Map gives Bikers the ability to
plan a small motorcycle trip or an extensive journey.

Getting started with your next motorcycle trip is easy.

Select Create A Journey

Select the appropriate state.

Select a Category.

Select a Destination from the Destination Directory.

Once a user finds a destination they then can match the
number with its corresponding icon located on the
Destination Map. Users can also search the Destination Map
by region or number.

Hover mouse over icon to view a brief description of a
Destination.

After choosing a specific destination select the Copy
Address button to paste into Biker Friendly Google Map.

Step 6
After selecting the Copy Address button then add a start
point to the Start Address Bar and then right click and
paste the first destination into the End Address Bar.
Notice two dialog boxes will appear please select allow
access on the first dialog box & ok on the second dialog
box.

Now select the Get Directions button and turn-by-turn
directions will appear.

To Add multiple destinations we will repeat the same steps
above by pasting our new address into the Biker Friendly
Google Map Add Destination Bar as seen below.

Select Add destination & then right click and paste new
address and select Add Destination button.

After selecting Add Destination you will the notice the
Biker Friendly Google Map and turn-by-turn directions will
adjust to represent your new trip including the recently
added destination.
Repeat this step to add multiple destinations.

To switch the order of your destinations drag the
corresponding green letter icon pin and its corresponding
destination address box above or below another destination
to change the order that the destination appears. For our
example we will drag destination C above destination B as
shown below.

on map as well as Turn-By-Turn Directions.

Another convenient feature offered on the Biker Friendly
Google Map is the option to adjust your route directly on
the map. Users can drag the blue route line by placing the
mouse arrow on the blue route line (a little circle will
appear
)and holding down the left mouse button & dragging the route
to a desired location within the map as shown below.

The Biker Friendly Google Map below shows the new route
after the blue route line has been changed to the desired
users preference. Also take notice when this feature is used
the turn-by-turn directions will make corresponding changes
to represent your the new route a user has chosen.

The above feature is an excellent way for a motorcyclist to
have the ability to adjust their trip in any way imaginable.

After your trip planning is complete and you have added all
of your destinations users can decide to print their entire
trip by selecting the Print button on the Biker Friendly
Google Map or even send the trip by email to a friend.
